As a valued member of our team, reporting directly to the Legislative Protective Services Manager, you will collaborate closely with a dynamic group of Officers.
What You’ll Do
You’ll act with integrity to:
• Act in conformity with the law and established policies
• Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism by exhibiting the utmost tact, diplomacy and confidentiality
You’ll support our collaboration as you:
• Carry out your duties as a Protective Services Officer Supervisor in accordance with legislation and Service standards
• Apply the principles of bias-free law enforcement
• Maintains the performance management standards of the Service
• Conduct general patrols and control access within the Legislative Precinct
• Respond to calls for Service (i.e. criminal activity, security breaches, medical emergencies, potential threats, etc.)
• Maintain safety of self and others
• Provide exceptional customer service in your daily interactions with Members of Provincial Parliament, the media,
visiting dignitaries and the general public
• Complete investigations and prepare reports
Qualifications / Required Skills
How You Qualify
You demonstrate excellence through your:
• Minimum secondary school (high school) diploma or post-secondary education;
• Possession of a Class G license;
• Fit for duty physical and mental ability to perform the duties of the position;
• A Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada;
• Excellent communication skills, orally and written

You will be required to work rotational shifts, 40 hours per week in a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week operation.
Note: The recruitment process includes successful completion of BPAD/PIN test, Interview, Psychological Assessment, and an extensive background check, including a police reference check.

Salary: $88,321 – $127,266
